From beauty queen to jigger queen, Cecilia Mwangi, 26, has seen the heights of glamour and squalor. She is also the beauty with a golden heart, as she works with Ahadi Kenya to relieve the pain of those infested with jiggers.

Previous Miss World Kenya Winners
The Miss World Kenya finals held on 28th August 2021 remains profound to me. It is not only because I was crowned the winner, but it also serves as a culmination of resilience, patience, and hard work. This was my second attempt at the crown after my maiden attempt in 2019 and it felt nothing short of immaculate!
I remember how intense the entire process was, but that period helped to elevate my personality, thought process, and opened me up to the endless possibilities that the platform provided. My life transformed beautifully on the night I was crowned, and I continue to embrace this new chapter of my life.
Travelling to Puerto Rico was my first solo international trip and the memories created will forever be etched in my mind.
