Si Scott is a graphic designer from the United Kingdom, he loves drawing, type and design so from his work we can see that he has emerged all of his passions together to make these amazing type designs which expresses his thoughts and feelings and also unique.  From looking at his type work I could say that I relate and this is because he makes types with patterns around it and I love doing that too.

David Carson is an American Graphic Designer, he has a worldwide fame and is likely the most significant Graphic Designer of the nineties. His introduction of imaginative ideas in magazine design together with his use of experimental typography gained him fame all over the world. David Carson was the Art director for the Ray Gun Magazine in the early nineties.

I was recently invited to contribute to an artist series range of T-shirts for US label Slowbucks. My first design is a contemporary treatment of a heraldic style SB monogram and the second is a golden glistening script snail trail in the form of Slowbucks.

I was recently commissioned to do a porn inspired headline treatment and illustration for an article in the April edition of Esquire (UK) Magazine. The piece was on a 39 year old, veteran porn star named Sunset Thomas whom apparently in her "heyday" was making $10,000 an evening.

It’s only words, and words are all we have to take your heart away, today. Yes, we are talking typography which is taking the world by storm and there are many artists who indulge in various forms of it, such as: hand scripted, digital, mixed media and more. Typography is not only a form of art and a visual representation of the same but it is very inspirational as it gives an edge to the words lent by writers, quotes, excerpts of poems or for visual merchandising.

After a weekend flipping through books, surfing the net and giving up to my work schedule, I do often end up looking at a piece of calligraphy pinned up on my board, though I don’t understand what’s written on it, the curves of the calligraphic script in dense black made me want to find about such artists who make typography worth rejoicing for all of us. Here it is, freshly pressed from the nest of TYS, 5 creative typography artists you just wouldn’t want to miss out on.
