Abdulrahman Bin Abdulaziz Bin Abdullah al-Sudais (born in 1962) is the Honorable President of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, and he is one of the preachers (Khatib) of the Two Holy Mosques. He was also the ‘khatib’ on the pulpit of Namirah Mosque in Arafat.

Abdulrahman al-Sudais was born in the city of Riyadh, where he lived and completed his education. He memorized the Quran at the age of twelve and graduated from the College of Sharia in 1983. After graduation, he was appointed a teaching assistant in the Department of Fundamentals of Jurisprudence. He then obtained a Master's degree from Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, followed by a doctorate from Umm al-Qura University in the College of Sharia. He also earned a professorship in the specialization of Fundamentals of Jurisprudence from the same university and worked as a professor there in 2012.

Abdul Rahman ibn Abdul Aziz al-Sudais (Arabic: عَبْدُ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلسُّدَيْسِ, romanized: ʻAbd ar-Raḥman ibn ʻAbd al-ʻAziz as-Sudais), better known as al-Sudais,[1] is the Chief Imam of the Grand Mosque, Masjid al-Haram in Makkah, Saudi Arabia; the President of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques; a renowned Qāriʾ (reciter of the Qur'an);[3] he was the Dubai International Holy Qur'an Award's "Islamic Personality Of the Year" in 2005.[4] Al-Sudais has preached Islam's opposition to "explosions and terrorism",[5][6] and has called for peaceful inter-faith dialogue,[7] but also been criticized for vilifying non-Muslims and especially Jews in his sermons.[8][9] He has denounced the treatment of Palestinians by Israeli settlers and the state of Israel,[10] and called for more aid to be sent to Palestinians.[11] He has also been noted for identifying women's un-Islamic behavior as in part responsible for the win

Abdul Rahman Ibn Abdul Aziz as-Sudais an-Najdi is a Saudi world renewed qari, he was born in Saudi Arabia and he's original from the Anza clan. Al Sudais is the leading imam of the Grand mosque in the Islamic city of Mecca.

At the age of 12, Al Sudais memorized the Holy Quran, and studied in the 'Al Muthana Bin Harith' Elementary School and was graduated in 1979 with a grade of excellent in ' Riyadh scientific Institution'.

Al Sudais studied in Riyadh University and received a degree in Sharia in 1983, and a Master from the Sharia College of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in 1987. In 1995 he obtained a Ph.D in Islamic Sharia from Umm al-Qura University.

Sheikh AL Sudais is known for the particularity of his voice and for his emotional recitation of the Quran in accordance with Tajweed.

In 2005, he received the price of the ' Islamic Personality Of the year' in the 9th annual Dubai International Holy Quran Award
