Valérie Zimmermann (Anna Mya Zimmer)

Valérie Zimmermann is a Norman artist inspired by the large and beautiful beaches of her region which bring calm and serenity to those who see them.

Also signing under the pseudonym Anna Mya Zimmer, she was a self-taught painter and ceramicist from the Vosges.

She will study throughout her life in sewing, production management, psychology and nutritherapy.

It was in 1997 that she returned to her lifelong passion: art. It was not until 2015 that she decided to exhibit. She will then exhibit in Canada, Spain and France.

From pastel, she will pass to oil painting. In the collections exhibited here, his medium is acrylic paint, sometimes with water-based oil paint.

His atmospheric scenes where colorful characters walk around are the result of his love for the wild beaches of Normandy which inspired him peace and harmony.

The KINOR Gallery is proud to have trusted her and to have accompanied her until her unfortunate death, in May 2021.
